About the producer: Ranulfo is a coffee farmer who lives with his family in Aldea El Chalun. He started producing coffee beans in 2003, when there were no roads in his town. He felt a deep connection to his culture and cared for each individual plant. Ranulfo says that thanks to the success of the coffee harvest, his children were able to go to school.
About the batch: The coffee beans are depulped the same day they are harvested and ferment for about 32 hours. The coffee is then thoroughly washed and dried in the sun. The beans are turned by Ranulfo’s son, who is in charge of processing.
Specialty coffee, 100% Arabica, carefully grown in a clearly defined geographical area, carefully picked, selected, processed and roasted in small batches according to origin and processing method.
