Return policy
First of all, it is important to know that products in one or more of the following situations cannot be returned:
1. The product was made to special order (e.g. grinding the beans);
2. The product’s original packaging is damaged;
3. Identification labels are damaged or missing;
4. More than 14 days have passed since the order was delivered.
Return costs
The shipping fee for returning parcels is paid either by the customer or by Meron, depending on the situation.
- If you have changed your mind about the product, or if it doesn’t fit you, shipping is paid by the customer.
- If the product reaches you with defects or wrong packaging, feel free to contact us either by phone at +40 372 903 388 or by e-mail at shop@meron.coffee for resolution. In this case, the payment of the return transport falls on Meron.
Refund of the product’s value
According to GEO no. 34/2014, the consumer has the right to notify the merchant in writing that he is canceling the purchase, without penalties and without citing a reason, within 14 working days of receiving his product. The returned product must be in the same condition in which it was delivered, with the tags intact and in the original packaging.
The refund of the value of the product, including, as the case may be, delivery costs, will be made within 14 days of the return, to the account of the card with which the online payment was made. Crediting the bank account may take up to 5 working days from the time the refund is made, depending on the bank.
Products that cannot be returned
The returned product must be in the same condition in which it was delivered, with all accessories and tags intact. If the product is returned in a condition where it can no longer be sold as new, Meron reserves the right to charge the costs of returning it to its original condition (if possible) or at the customer’s option, we will reship the product at the customer’s expense.
If the product-specific instructions for use have not been fully followed, or if the product has been opened or used by the customer, it cannot be accepted for return.
Steps for return
In order to make the return correctly, it is necessary to complete the steps below:
Step 1 – Filling out the return form
- Get in touch with us by email at shop@meron.coffee
Step 2 – Preparing the package
Make sure that:
- the products you return are in the same condition as you received them, with all tags attached
- you have included a legible copy of the invoice in the parcel
- if the products were packed in individual boxes, please send them all in the boxes (if you send them in an envelope, they will reach us damaged)
- write down our address on the package: Recipient: Meron Roastery, str. Balastierei, no. 20, 407280, Florești, Cluj, Romania.
Step 3 – Shipping the package
- Ship the parcel within 2 working days from the moment you notified us about the return.
- The return can be made with any courier company you want, even with the Romanian Post
- IMPORTANT: if the product you received was delivered damaged or wrongly packaged, or you received a defective product, please notify us by e-mail or phone so that we can send a courier to you to pick up the respective product / products.
