Customers of meron.ro will always be informed whether a product is in stock or not, if it can be made to order, how long it will take to process, and how long it will take to reach them. This information will be conveyed via email or phone. Images of products, offers, prices, and contests can be changed in advance without specific notification. Products sold through meron.ro will be accompanied by a fiscal invoice or receipt at the time of delivery.

In this sense, the Customer is obliged to provide the Seller with all the information necessary for issuing the invoice, according to the legislation in force.   1. COMPLAINT RESOLUTION PROCEDURE

Any dissatisfaction related to accessing, using, registering on our site, placing an order, aspects related to the order made, and others will be communicated directly, either by phone at +4 0372 903 388 or by email at orders@meron.coffee. Your dissatisfaction will be registered and you will receive a written response to the email address mentioned when making us aware of your dissatisfaction, within a maximum of 3 working days.

The customer agrees not to make these grievances public (on social networks, media, private party discussions, or in any other way) subject to incurring damages for the image damage caused to the Company by these actions.

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SC MERON ROASTERY SRL reserves the right to make changes at any time regarding the content of the website www.shop.meron.coffee, policies, terms and conditions of use, without prior notification to users in this regard, although we will be attentive to announce these changes to customers.

The user of the website www.shop.meron.coffee is obliged to regularly check the terms and conditions of use. If the user does not agree with the changes made to them by SC MERON ROASTERY SRL, they will cease using the site. If the user continues to use the site, it is considered that they agree with the changes made.

  1. CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY

By creating and using the Account, the Client assumes responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of Account data (username and password) and for managing access to the Account, being legally responsible for the activity conducted through their Account.

By accessing the site, creating the Account, using the site, placing orders, etc., the Client expressly and unequivocally accepts the Terms and Conditions of the site in its latest version communicated within the site. The messages sent are not unsolicited, and you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of each email received. The messages sent comply with the Electronic Commerce Law regarding commercial communication, as stipulated by Romanian and international legislation.

If information, materials, documents are sent to us by any possible method, including email, mail, fax, online forms, it will be considered that the user grants the company an unlimited, free, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, and display these informations by any means.

  1. ADVERTISING

When creating an account on the site and/or placing an order, the Client has the opportunity to express their consent to receive Newsletters.

The Newsletter represents a periodic means of information, exclusively electronic (email, SMS) about the Goods, Services, Promotions, etc., of the Seller during a certain period, without any commitment from the Seller regarding the information contained therein.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither of the contracting parties shall be liable for the non-performance on time or/and improper – total or partial – performance of any obligation that is due under this contract, if the non-performance or improper performance of that obligation was caused by force majeure, as defined by law, for reasons independent of the parties.

The party invoking force majeure is obliged to notify the other party within 5 (five) days of the occurrence of the event and to take all possible measures to limit its consequences.

 

  1. APPLICABLE LAW

The contract will be governed and interpreted in accordance with Romanian law. Any disagreement arising between the Merchant and the Client in relation to the relationships arising from this Contract shall be resolved amicably, and in case of failure, shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cluj-Napoca.

  1. FINAL PROVISIONS

This site is owned by SC MERON ROASTERY SRL, which grants you the right to access and use the site subject to your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using the site, you automatically and unequivocally agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the site.

SC MERON ROASTERY SRL reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice, by posting the updated version on the site, and the Client is obliged to read the Terms and Conditions each time they access the site. The Client is obliged to fully comply with the Terms and Conditions of the site and cannot claim or defend themselves by alleging ignorance of the Terms and Conditions of the site, valid at the time of access, use, and/or placing an order on the site.

SC MERON ROASTERY SRL periodically organizes various Promotions that are announced on the site. The Promotions become valid at the moment they are activated on the site and cease to be valid from the moment they are deactivated on the site. Promotions do not accumulate with each other or with other discounts and are valid only within the limits of available stock.

How do I order?

Select the desired product from the product list by clicking on the image or the “See details” button.

On the product page, you can view all the features of the product, as well as information about delivery, payment, and returns.

To add the product to your cart, press the “Add to Cart” button.

After adding the product/products to the cart, you can view the cart by pressing the “My Cart” button, located at the top right of the page, where a small window with a summary of your purchases will open.

To finalize your order, press the “Complete Order” button.

If you are a new customer, you have two options: either create an account or complete the order as a guest.

If you already have an account on www.shop.meron.coffee/, enter your email address and password.

Once the order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email, which contains the order number and other useful information.

Finalizing the Order

Steps to finalize the order:

Step 1 – Billing Address

Enter the requested information in the corresponding fields (you will be able to proceed to the next step only if all mandatory fields are filled).

Step 2 – Delivery Method

Choose the delivery method: by courier or by the Meron team in Cluj at the address filled out on the site.

Step 3 – Payment Method

Through iPay.ro, a secure online payment system based on the 3DSecure standard. By pressing the “Continue” button, you will be redirected to the online card payment system, where you will enter your card identification information to complete the transaction.

Step 4 – Order Review

In the final step of the order completion process, you will find the payment summary: discounts through discount codes/gift cards (where applicable), the subtotal of the ordered products, the value of the shipping fee, and the total invoice amount.

Order Confirmation

After placing the order, a new page will appear where you will find the order registration number, and soon after, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information about your order.

If you do not receive any confirmation email from us within 10 minutes, you can contact us and one of our consultants will assist you as soon as possible.

How do I add products to my shopping cart?

After adding the product/products to the cart, you can view the cart by pressing the “Cart” button, at the top right of the page, where a small window with a summary of your purchases will open;

How do I modify the products in the shopping cart?

If you want to change the quantity or color, you simply need to click on the product image in your cart or on its title.

How do I apply a promotional code to my shopping cart?

If you want to apply a promotional code, you just need to enter the code in the dedicated field in the shopping cart, and then click on the icon to the right of it to validate it.

All displayed products are in stock.

You can tell that a product (size, color, quantity) is in stock if:

  • It appears in the product list.
  • On the product page, it is specified as “Available in stock.”
  • The color square corresponding to the color you want for a specific model appears in the list of squares for that product.

How do I pay?

Online payment by card

Payment is made in complete safety, without any commission being charged.

To correctly complete the transaction, you must provide the card code (all the digits from the four groups on the front of the card), the expiration date, and the last three digits on the back of the card inscribed on your signature strip (depending on the type of card, these may be absent).

Online payment by card – 3D Secure System

Choosing the 3D Secure Card Payment method involves paying using a card issued by MasterCard / Visa, enrolled in the 3D Secure system. Please make sure your card is enrolled in the 3D Secure system.

If your card is not enrolled in the 3D Secure system, but the issuing bank is enrolled in the 3D Secure system, you can perform the transaction but we suggest contacting your bank afterward to enroll your card in the 3D Secure system. If the issuing bank of your card is not enrolled in the 3D Secure system, the only cards accepted are those with a valid CVV2/CVC2 code (Visa or MasterCard).

When you finalize the order, you will be automatically redirected to the 3D Secure / Romcard secure payment page.

  1. SHIPPING

We deliver nationwide through express courier within 1-3 business days, and for orders over 200 RON, delivery is free.

Products are delivered by the seller, directly to the buyer’s home/address specified by them.

The shipping fee for orders under 200 RON is 13 RON if you opt for delivery through Cargus service, and 16 RON for delivery through GLS service.

The dispatch of the order for products in stock will be carried out within 2-3 days from the order confirmation by email. The order should reach you within a maximum of 1-2 business days from the date of order confirmation. This period may be modified by circumstances beyond our control, without exceeding a term of 10 working days, calculated from the date your order was taken.

The order will be shipped in packaging that ensures the security of the transport. The responsibility for any damage caused during the transport of the product, parcel, or package sent by us falls on the carrier according to the current local legislation.

Some products on meron.ro require pre-ordering, therefore, some orders may take longer than usual.

  1. RETURNS

Return Policy

Steps for return

If what you ordered is not what you wanted, no problem, you can return the product – which either is not what you ordered or has a manufacturing defect. In any case, please follow the return steps found here.

Return Costs

The shipping fee for returning parcels must be paid either by the client or by Meron, depending on the situation.

IMPORTANT: If the product received was delivered/packaged incorrectly OR you received a defective product, please contact us either by phone (+4 0372 903 388) or via email (shop@meron.coffee) to resolve the issue.

Reimbursement of Product Value

According to Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, the consumer has the right to notify the merchant in writing that they renounce the purchase, without penalties and without stating a reason, within 14 working days from the receipt of their product. The returned product must be in the same condition as it was delivered, with tags intact and we recommend that it be in the original packaging.

If there is a justified reason for wanting to change or replace the products, then the return can be made within 30 working days.

Return expenses will be borne either by the client or by Meron depending on the situation (more details about the payment of the shipping fee can be found here), and the reimbursement of the product value, including, where applicable, the costs of delivery, will be made within a maximum of 14 days from the return, into the bank account mentioned in the return form.

To receive the reimbursement of the product values, please mention in the Return Form, in the field named “REIMBURSEMENT OF PRODUCT VALUE IN BANK ACCOUNT”, the account where you want the product value of the returned items to be refunded, as well as the full name of the account holder.

Products that cannot be returned

The returned product must be in the same condition as it was delivered, with all accessories and labels intact. If the product is returned in a condition where it can no longer be sold as new, meron.ro reserves the right to charge for the costs to restore it to its original state (if possible) or, at the customer’s option, we will reship the product at their expense.

If the specific product usage instructions were not fully followed, or if the product was unpacked or used by the customer, the product is not accepted for return.

To properly perform a return, you must follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Completing the return form

Fill out and submit the return form found below.

*The return form is automatically sent after you press the “Send” button at the bottom of the page and should not be included in the package.

Step 2 – Preparing and returning the package

Ensure that:

  • the products you are returning are in the same condition you received them, with all labels attached.
  • you have included a legible copy of the fiscal invoice in the package.
  • if the product or products were packaged in individual boxes, please ship them back in a box (if you ship them in an envelope, they will arrive damaged).
  • write our address on the package: Recipient: SC MERON ROASTERY SRL Address: Horea Street No. 5, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County.

Step 3 – Shipping the package

Ship the package within 2 business days after completing the Return Form.

The return can be made with any courier company you wish, even with Romanian Post.

IMPORTANT: if the received product was delivered or packaged incorrectly OR you received a defective product, please notify us by email or phone so we can send a courier to pick up the respective product/products from you.

Conformity

The products sold on shop.meron.coffee undergo a technical quality control before being packaged. This eliminates the possibility of delivering defective products. The products are appropriately packaged in special boxes. The products are considered to be in conformity with the sales contract if:

  • they match the description made by the seller and have the same qualities as the products that the seller has presented on shop.meron.coffee as a model;
  • they are suitable for any particular purpose made known to the seller and accepted by them at the time of the conclusion of the distance contract;
  • they are suitable for the purposes for which products of the same type are normally used;
  • being of the same type, they exhibit normal quality and performance parameters, which the consumer can reasonably expect, given the nature of the product and the public statements about the specific characteristics of the product made by the seller, the producer, especially through advertising or on the product label.

It is not considered a lack of conformity if, at the time of the conclusion of the sales contract, the consumer was aware of or could not reasonably have been unaware of the lack of conformity.
